What I expected before I went on the retreat was that there was going to be alot of hiking we had to do and that it was going to be really hot. Also I thought we weren't going to have beds to sleep on. What I liked was that there were alot of activites which I had alot fun with. I also liked the dance because they were serving smores. What I didn't like was that the hike was that long. Also that we couldn't go on the night walk. I didn' the beds because they werent comfartble to sleep in. What I learned was don't judge a book by its cover because I met alot of people who I woudln't talk to if we didn't go to the retreat I found they were cool people. I learned that camping can be fun if you make it fun. The retreat was worth it because it was alot of fun.

1. What did you think of Joe R. Hicks?
I thought that he was a great man because he has done so many things for the black commuinty like he helped created the holiday Kwanzaa. He also fought the rights for blacks.

2. Do you consider him a leader? Why or why not?
Yes I do consider him a leader because he cares about the youth in america and he wants to helped them with the problems that they are facing today.

3. Joe's opinion is that anyone has the capacity to be a leader. Do you think this true? Why or why not?
