a.Who I consider a leader in my life is my brother. I consider him as a leader becasue he helped me out with alot of problems that i had in my life.

3.I do not think the walkout was effective because it wasn't organized and there was nobodu from any newspaper covering the story.

4.You get suspended and detetion and a call home. And some parents will get mad at their child.

5. There was someboyd covering the story and people knew what they were protesting for not like monday when people didn't even know why they were protesting.

6. They could have banners and suports of teachers and they should tell the news and newspaper that they were going to do this.

A.The students probaly dropout because they feel the work is too hard or their girlfriends end up pregant.

C.Animo Venice have a small amount if student. We don't have a dropout rate. We dont have a graduating class.
D. I hope that my high school exprience is going to be fun. I know that there is time to have fun and time to be serious. I'm going to do my best to graduate.

What i found interesting is that most student who were supposed to graduate dropout. Soemditched school almost everyday. Some were absent up to 90 days. Its a big deal because they wont get a good job in the future and wont get good money.I do not now any dropouta. The most likely reason why I might drop out is because I might have a child and I have to take care of it. Animo can have programs after school to help us out.

The picture that I selected is the one where a boy is hugging somebody. It shows how the boy from graduating. I did well in my first semester at Animo Venice. The classes that were easy was english,ethnic studies,algerbra,read-in, and circulum skills. They were easy because i understood all the material that those teachers taught me. The classes that were diffcult for me was technology, spanish and science. Technology was hard cause it was hard doing the flash exercises. Spanishwas hard because of the test the teacher gave us. Science was hard because of all the worksheets. What i could do to improve my grades for 2nd semster is do better in tests and to do this I have to study alot harder. In 10 years, I want to be graduating college and get getting a good career.

My winter vacation was fun because i got alot of presents which were what i needed. I went to the snow in wrightwood were I had alot of fun with my friends. I went bowling which was also fun. I got giftcards and with the giftcards i got cds. I got a printer which really made me happy because now i could print things out for school. Overall my winter vacation was one of the vacations I had in years.

What I expected before I went on the retreat was that there was going to be alot of hiking we had to do and that it was going to be really hot. Also I thought we weren't going to have beds to sleep on. What I liked was that there were alot of activites which I had alot fun with. I also liked the dance because they were serving smores. What I didn't like was that the hike was that long. Also that we couldn't go on the night walk. I didn' the beds because they werent comfartble to sleep in. What I learned was don't judge a book by its cover because I met alot of people who I woudln't talk to if we didn't go to the retreat I found they were cool people. I learned that camping can be fun if you make it fun. The retreat was worth it because it was alot of fun.

I thought that he was a great man because he has done so many things for the black commuinty like he helped created the holiday Kwanzaa. He also fought the rights for blacks.

Ms. Parks was famous for the boycott which led all the races to sit in the front of the bus.
She was tired of sitting in the back of the bus. Because she was african-american.
Before her actions she was cleaning houses and after her actions she got arrested.
It would be diffrent because i'll be always standting up in the bus. I'll be living a life where people are racist. We woudlnt have the chance to sit in the front of the bus.

Overall I think the museum was a memroble exprience learinig about another culutre. Two things that I learned were the way they were treated in the world war II. I learnded that white people weren't only racist to the black people but they were also racist to japanese. My favorite aspect of the museum was find things about what the japanese people took pride in and what they hated durin the world war II. Some similtries that they had was they were treated as poor people. Some diffrensces are that japansese people came to the united states by choice andblack people came here by force.

My strongest learning style is musical which means I think of via rhytms and melodies: Singing, whistling, humming, tapping feet and hands, listening. Always recognize pattern and sounds.

My weakest learning style is visual spartial. These people think in images and pictures: Designing, drawing, visualizing, doodling, etc. Usually very good at abrasct thinking.

I was born in L.a. California. I live with my mom, dad, 2 brothers, sister in-law, nephew, aunt and nephew. My responsblities at home is cleaning the dishes and takink care of nephew. In middle school I played basketball and football. I was also in drama. Something that has change the way I am is going to an after school program which has helped me stay on the path for a high school diploma. It has shaped the way I am today because since I been going there I have cared more about school.
